Spiritual Transformation

We cannot know Spirit purely through the mind. Spirit must be experienced and felt in the body and in the heart. The goal of any transformational practice is to unite the physical body and mind with the spiritual body and mind to create harmony and convergence between the physical and non-physical realities of existence. It is of no use to know intellectually that we are all one if we have no internal feeling or knowingness of what that really means. It is only by experiencing this truth in our daily lives that it can become firmly fixed within the cells of our being and the memory of our souls. The greater number of spiritual lessons that we can fully internalize while living on the physical plane, the more we are able to embody spiritual truth. As we progress spiritually, we become more loving, more kind, more patient, more tolerant and more compassionate. We become increasingly motivated to live with spiritual purpose and to leave something beautiful behind when we pass from this world. We have a strong desire to use our skills and talents to make a difference, to leave this place in a better state than we found it. It is really an incredible thought to consider that Spirit created us to better know Him/Herself through evolving into greater consciousness, capacity and creativity. Spirit created us to share Its joy in the creation of life, love and beauty. The universe is an amazing place, full of wonder, mystery and miracles. We have the ability to use our powers of creation wisely and in ways that uplift others. This is the true essence of spirituality and the goal of spiritual practice and transformation. We are on a path of constant improvement, learning and discovery. With greater spiritual awareness, we can learn to create our lives from a place of love, peace and happiness instead of a place of fear, confusion and pain. We can all join together to make that a reality here.
